“A natural introvert, Grace allows her music to speak for her in a way that leaves her heart open to every audience she encounters.”
Known for her captivatingly delicate vocals and mellow guitar, Grace Eden is a London based singer-songwriter who first hit the indie-folk scene in 2015. Having released several singles in recent years, Grace is currently working on her debut EP ‘O LOVE’ during this period of lockdown.
Grace began writing when she was 12, although since she can remember, she often used to make up songs in her head as she played. Picking up the piano at age 10 and the guitar at 13 allowed her to discover the voice she didn’t know she had until she was much older. At the age of 15, Grace played her first open mic at her local pub in her hometown of Guildford. From that point on, she continued to grow and push herself musically.
With no family musicianship or links to the industry, every step of Grace’s career has been a significant learning curve. From releasing her debut single when she was 17, to starting to busk on the streets of Guildford when she was 19, and now to recording and mixing her debut EP in her bedroom, there has rarely been a moment to stop and breath, but Grace is showing no signs of slowing down just yet.
Taking inspiration from an eclectic range of artists such as Ben Howard, Amy Winehouse, The Kooks and Fleetwood Mac, Grace’s work fuses the playful and witty lyricism of indie music with rustic folk melodies. A natural introvert, Grace allows her music to speak for her in a way that leaves her heart open to every audience she encounters. Grace has dreams of solo touring Europe in a self-converted van, living off the music that she finds she cannot live without.
